out on the Cape this weekend, we were disappointed to hear that Nauset beach was closed both Saturday and Sunday. it had closed briefly two weekends ago due to the nearby hurricane, but this weekend's reason was much more fun. and it wasn't a barracuda. *g*

Ha! Great entry. I was tempted to go to the Cape to see if I could spot the sharks. We only get sand sharks and the occasional basking shark on the north shore.

that's neat! I can't say that I have ever seen a shark in its natural habitat, just in aquariums and so forth.

I'm going to try for VT and PM, but there needs to be some money in the house first.

Lean times, lean times.

that is completely understandable. I'd like to put it down to responsible money management that I've been to so few events & concerts these past months, but really it's exhaustion and absent mindedness. heh, whatever gets you by I guess. but socializing is always good, hence visit Friday yay. XD

I have a ticket for PM on the 25th, which I'd gotten so long ago that it had slipped my mind (Thanks for the reminder!) and for VT on 10/3 when she's in NH.

Lots of New England shark reports here, btw. I thought I'd seen a convincing argument for the 1936 shark being a bull instead of a great white, but I can't seem to find it now.

My mother sent me a link about the sharks. My favorite bit was the marine biologists jumping up and down about getting to tag an 8-foot and a 10-foot great white. Apparently it's the second and third successful taggings of GWs in the Atlantic ever. No one got to go swimming on Labor Day Weekend? Oh well.
