I got one of those holiday family letters from Doug's cousin. She outed herself as the cause of her 30somthing husbands bright shiny new hip replacement.

Seems she NEEEEEEEEDED lights on the tree outside. NEEEEEEEEEEDED them. Not Christmas without them. Hubby was not too keen on climbing the ladder but you do not say no when a female of this particular line says I NEEEEEEEED - so up he goes....but she had stepped into the house at the time he chose to ascend and of course the ladder fell backward. The lights WAITED until he was alone and then PUSHED HIM DOWN I SAY!

Life altering experience.

Christmas lights are evil in their very nature.
