* At least one Philly Museum
It's a pretty good zoo but a bit cramped because of its location. The location was chosen long before the fashion for showing animals in natural settings, unfortunately, so there isn't room for some of the neat exhibits newer zoos have.
The Philadelphia Art Museum has a wonderful collection of Impressionist paintings, rooms with multiple Van Goghs, for instance.
Penn's University Museum of Archeology was established in an era when archeologists 'liberated' what they found, and they haven't given much (anything?) back, so its collection is small but impressive.
And then there's the Mutter Museum.... FanSee
