What is your favorite Christmas movie?
I'd probably have to rewatch them to be sure but I think it's a toss up between the Muppet Christmas Carol and White Christmas. I'll add them to the December list and let you know. (Especially since I just received a dvd copy of the Muppet Christmas Carol. Yay for Disney rewards cards!)

Wait a minute...did you get your dvd from the catalog? Because I can't find it and all I have is the VHS for it.

To me, the Muppet version is the most faithful to the book despite having Muppets. The Jim Carrey one scared my middle nephew so much that he has issues with going to movie theatres.

Oh - sorry. Disney has so many reward programs.
I have a Disney Visa that gives me "points" for using it. I can turn those points in for disney merch and disney parks stuff. So, I got the dvd from the Disneystore website using Disney Visa points.

OH...I've heard of the Disney Visa but wasn't sure if it was worth it. I don't spend enough for most programs where $100=1 point or else it's $1=one point but it takes 15,000 points to get anything.

Is Disney Visa different then?

I adore my Disney Visa and don't mind telling anyone. Aside from having exceptional customer service (I've called a number of times for a number of different reasons and have always been happy with the results), the rewards program isn't bad.

They call it "disney reward dollars" and it's $1 back for every $100 you put on the card. They're only usable at Disney locations (Disney stores, parks and websites) but they take forever to expire (something like 5 years?). So you don't have to use it a lot to get the rewards.

To be honest, I have one credit card (the Disney) and run virtually everything through it. I hardly ever carry cash and I'm able to run most of my utilities and insurance programs through the card, which I pay off in full at the end of every month. When I was in college, I usually earned enough points for like, one dvd a year. As an "adult" I move a lot more money around and this year, I earned enough for something like 7 dvds.
