The Hunger Games

Why didn't I know of the utter greatness of the Hunger Games trilogy before? Gobbled them up this weekend. Am now a third into the last one and it looks kinda bleak and everything and I. Must. Oh, I read The Hunger Games trilogy over the Superbowl weekend. Now I'm counting the days until the movie premiere. I'm so excited! Partly because the movies won't be bound to the first person format that the books had. It took me awhile to really love Peeta, being in Katniss's mind the whole time, but of course I did by the end.

Yes, it took a while for me to like Peeta for exactly the same reason as for you. But now ... yeah, I'm rooting for him. (Mostly, I'm rooting for him not to lose his humanity.)
