I have no idea who is even reading my posts at this point, but for the sake of all humanity and fandom, drop what you are doing, and go read "The Ties That Bind" fic by thisiszircon, now! The first 14 of 20 chapters are already online, with the remaining being posted daily. I am seriously drooling over plot (attention to detail... wowser!) and characterization

I am really enjoying that fic as well. Much plotty goodness, excellent attention to the detail, and I love how Buffy and Giles' have fallen back into being a team, and not just as Watcher and Slayer, but as parental figures for Dawn, best friends, and eventually owning up to their own feelings about each other. It's really well done.

I can't answer the first question. I found BtVS late and then went on a mad search on the internet to find anything to keep it alive. Comicverse. Brilliant! That's the best way to describe it too!

If post-Chosen is your crack, then you might want to check out my fics. I mostly write post-Chosen. I prefer that setting. :) And if you do check them out, don't be afraid of the WiP, I update it regularly. I know many people don't like to read them for fear of getting sucked into something that won't be finished, but I'm actively working on it.

I feel guilty I've strayed mostly. I miss the excitement of reading and writing fanfic. I just find it difficult to find time to read. Real life interferes too much. Also, the enthusiasm of the new generation of fans tends to encourage me back.
