I do so love AUs! Dean is so appropriate as a firefighter, I never get tired of him in that role. Just a heads up, first degree burns are the most mild (redness), third degree are severe (charring). It's pretty unlikely that Dean would have third degree burns though. The clothing that firefighters (and some other professions) wear is fire retardant which means that what might result in a third degree burn with no protection will be reduced to second or first degree burns instead. And that's if the clothes themselves were on fire. Of course then it's all a dream so maybe it doesn't matter... :) Good job hiding that.

I like to think that the shattering glass did result in some tearing and thus exposure, but yeah the dream thing. The laws of reality are meaningless lol. Thanks so much for the review!

this is really quite mind-bendy, isn't it? A dream of amnesia is kind of the ultimate escape.

Dr. Jensen has downgraded the ones on his limbs to third degree, but the ones on his neck and thigh are still in the first degree stage.
We're thinking about skin grafts.”

Hmmm... I'm pretty sure that a third degree burn is more severe than a first degree burn. Therefpre you either downgrade a third degree to a first degree or upgrade a first degree to a third.
