I so love that you made Jensen an artist in this world. It fits so well with historical examples of governments that went in this direction and their persecution/fear of artists as the forerunners of free expression. It's perfect how it gives him something to be passionate about that while meant as an innocent act on his part, puts a huge target on him from the State’s perspective.

Absolutely lovely with Jensen’s explanation of his works to Jared showing both his desire to commemorate his friends and highlighting Jensen’s and Jared’s contrasting views. It was a superb way to put Jared in an extraordinarily difficult position as an officer of the State and gave it all the more impact when he still chose Jensen, though still so in character with his restraint.

Any guesses on where I pulled the inspiration for them???
I really wanted to find out what made each of them more human, if that's possible. Jensen has this amazing artistic side. He's scarred and damaged but channels this through a very creative medium, while Jared is much more physical in his almost gentle domination of others and, of course, damaged in his own way.
