It is pretty lonely to be the only person who is not happy about the Big Thing* that everyone else is happy about. But not really surprising, I guess.

*Star Wars? Hated it.
*Christmas? Worst things in my life have happened at Christmas time.

Christmas? I'm Jewish. (Also, it's the day we used to celebrate Grandma's birthday.)

I know lots of people don't care about either. I think it just feels different to me because these are things I should be excited about, but they aren't where my heart is right now. The absence of excitement feels strange.
