Mimi doesn't have goals. Mimi lives in the moment. She's a free spirit. What she wants is to be happy, full, alive.

Ditto what Paul said. She also wants to forget. That one bit in Out Tonight, where she's talking about the nevers and maybes. She came from a very depressed area, probably the slums or ghetto. She's fallen into the trap of finding ways to live in the moment and forget the past.
