When the shot opened, he had his back to the camera, and right as he turned around the music swelled, as if it *knew* I was about to freak out. :P

If it's the same character, he'd have had to go to butler school and change accents before the move. But do-able, I suppose. :-) But he's definitely one of the (many) highlights of Remembrance, basically lecturing the Doctor on not procrastinating, without realising it.

Ahaha, no, he didn't change his accent! Because he's a butler, see, and butlers always have British accents.

But yeah, he was excellent in that serial. ^^

Yeah, but he doesn't have a straightforwardly British accent in Doctor Who. It's sort of Caribbean, Jamaican? So he has to get rid of that, learn RP or whatever it is he uses in Fresh Prince, and get butlering qualifications sufficient to impress Americans. But he has ~20 years to do it, so I guess it's not asking that much...

Oh come on, he could learn RP from the telly. It's not like the Americans are really that hip to the subtleties of it, eh?

But you're right about the 20 year gap.

Either he's a Time Lord, or he moisturizes really well.
