also I have not actually seen Wolverine, is it actually worth toughing out the crapness for the Hugh Jackness?

I uh. I do.. have some planned? BUT NO PROMISES. because I suck. Standard boilerplate, etc.

And I.... actually thought it wasn't that crappy? It's clearly not a deep movie, but it wasn't overloaded and incoherent in the way that X3 was*, and not overly expository like X1, and it's not social-faily and rage-inducing like First Class (for a given metric of Summer Superhero Blockbuster, of course.)

and also he's only dressed like 30% of the time.

I may do a picspam, like I did with TW? AGAIN, NO PROMISES!

* Or, rather, to the same extent, as they are fairly similar in their weaknesses and strengths. There are some wicked awesome visuals-- as should be MANDATORY for a comic book movie!

P.S. my proposed fic relies heavily on Origins: Wolverine and X2 so uh. You should probably watch them! You know, within the next six months, which is how long it'll take me to actually write anything. :/

I have seen X2, but not Origins. And it's ok about the time limit. I'm only just now considering actually finally writing Star Trek fic after two friggin years of being deeply invested in the fandom. I just have so many little snippets and images that I'd love to somehow stitch together, and I think that's basically what my first fic will be: a kind of patch-work of all of the cute possible Kirk/Spock relationship moments I've come up with stuck together in a consecutive fashion to form an actual narrative. We'll see if THAT actually happens, because there are a million other things I SHOULD be doing instead, but... :P
