1) I have been Not Productive this past month or so, due only in part to making a college visit last week. Work put me on a four-day schedule by accident in the middle of January, and I'm going to ask them to put me back down to three days. I actually have a good RL excuse, as my conference paper is due for the compilation April 15th, and who knows

watching The Sea Devils recently was... an experience

banaaang. Anyway, I think recording your own commentaries sounds like fun - it'd be like an audio liveblog! Especially for episodes you haven't seen before, because then we all get to hear your SHOCKED AND APPALLED reactions to whatever's going on onscreen.

Also, I would love a gratuitous self-absorbed picspam, especially if it involves impractical shoes. :D

I'm pretty sure my best friend and I would make a great MST3K team. We were watching Rocky IV in History a little while ago (don't ask why cause I don't fucking know) and we laughed ourselves into a tizzy. I think we were pretty hilarious-- the phrase "retractable eyeballs" was invoked, after all-- but it might be one of those times when you think you're fucking hilarious and nobody else gets it.
