Ooooh. Very mysterious. I love the way you wrote Other!Ianto and Tosh - they're different enough to raise the question of what's going on, but similar enough to be recognizable. And, personally, I love the style that this is written in, and I'm okay with there not being a plot for now. Letting the mystery build gives us more time to try puzzling things out for ourselves, and every scene serves a purpose - whether to give hints as to how the alternate universe is different, characterize Tosh and Other!Ianto, or just to...build atmosphere? I don't know, I'm not being terribly coherent, but every scene feels like it's needed, like it's winding up to something more. And I love that. I love being held in suspense.
What I mean to say is don't worry about it. I'm loving it so far, and the lack of plot isn't a problem.
Awesome! I love the idea of an Ianto that isn't on the teams side but is only loyal to himself and his awesome alt!world girlfriend. Jack is right to be worried.
