*ponders on it* I am trying to think up some conflict myself, right now, though I am a little more limited in that it's for the stopwatch exchange. Lesigh. Anyway, what's wrong with conflict in order to get two unlikely characters to make out?

But then my silly arguments do tend to be around what silly turn of phrase someone has said this time (I correct the grammar of the television. It is probably not healthy). My most recent one involved someone mentioning that an incident took place "at 7 a.m. in the morning". As though there was a 7 a.m. that wasn't in the morning.

Hmmm. I like that last one. So. Man vs.... Toaster. Small domestic appliances everywhere (at least, everywhere in Cardiff) are revolting. And not in the "haven't been cleaned for years" sense of the word. Torchwood must find the cause of this disaster and stop it before Ianto's coffee machine gets infected and he goes berserk and kills things it spreads to computers and cellphones and the internet it's too late ( ... )

There are lots of fics where Ianto sleeps with Jack to keep him from finding Lisa, but I would like to see one where he doesn't actually enjoy it, one where he might actually be straight. Which, of course, would make Jack chase him that much more.
