here via... um... links. I'm a sucker for Tosh backstory and I really like the way you wrote her- the way she responds (and doesn't respond) to Jack is a nice way of getting to know her. I agree that Jack is probably careful with her, but I think Jack's version of "careful" means idle verbal flirting instead of grabby-grindy flirting :) I haven't given Suzie enough brain time, but she's likeable and very believable in this too. Thanks for sharing!
lol @ "um... links." I'm not recc'd someplace embarrassing, am I? :P
Tosh doesn't get enough attention, does she? This was essentially a freewrite (looking on it, I wish I'd revised it more) but I think I should look more into the pre-S1 period. Jack was pretty harsh with Tosh in "Fragments," and understandably so, but it'd be fun to trace the evolution of their relationship to "Everything Changes." And I just love the idea of Jack flirting with her because Tosh deserves to get flirted with, being gorgeous and brilliant and such. I think you're right in what being "careful" means for Jack.
I really like Suzie too, particularly because of the vulnerability you see in her. It's a charming characteristic for a villainess. ^^
