I don't know what more I can say about this fic, how much I loved it and want you to have lots of success with. I'm extremely proud of you, hon. *huge hug*
Thanks for sharing this. It was such a pleasure to read, and unfolds nicely from the basic premise. Well done, and such a cute kid I can hardly stand it. I like this Sam and Dean.
I really enjoyed reading this (came via a rec at spnstoryfinders). One thing that really worked for me was how real Izzy was. As the mother of a 3 year old girl who likes to climb trees whilst wearing frilly pink dresses, it was good to read a story with a properly written child in it. I have read too many fics where the children do not act in an age-appropriate style (usually too young) and it jars me out of the story. But Izzy was just perfect. Thank you.
I can't thank you enough for that comment. I did my best to make Izzy realistic and age appropriate. I'm so glad you enjoyed and pleased to know I was recced :)

Yes, it's always good to have end-notes. Acknowledgments and comments are the very best at giving your readers some last and parting glimpses into the world you've written. If they've stayed long enough to finish the story they probably enjoy them very much. I know that I do, and it's also a way of coming down from the story. Sort of like the ending credits of a movie that scroll by while the music plays. Sometimes you just want to sit in the dark and stay, you want to hold onto the feeling for just a bit longer. Plus we get to see something of what went into the making of the story and clearly folks everywhere enjoy that. I especially enjoyed hearing about your children, the climbing, the Spooky nickname and the fact that Izzy B and the "sigature" color happened because of SM. which is undeniably a classic

I can't believe I didn't reply to this sooner! So sorry for that! And with such lovely comments you very much deserve a response.
I totally agree with you about the notes. As I was writing them I'm thinking this is way TMI - but you know - I would want to know these little details so I thought I would make them available to those interested.
I can't thank you enough for the feedback & attention to detail that you've given me on the fic as a whole and here in the notes. Reviews such as yours are like gold to an author.
And your comment on John is especially appreciated. I have a soft spot for him and some of that I think is due to the negative light in which he is ofted portrayed.
Thanks so much for your wonderful words - they had me glowing for days :)
You definately gave me a smile (occasionally through tears) and a wonderful 2-3 hours of reading.
I think I can freely say that this is one of _THE_ best stories I've read in awhile. In an out of fandom.
I always read the author notes. I enjoy them tremendously. I like the insight they give.
I liked your version of John. It was really nice to see the loving father side of him and yet you stayed very true to who he is as a man and a hunter. Well done.
I wish I could convey to you how much I truly enjoyed this story. It's staying in my favorites with my other 'best ofs' if that tells you anything. *laughs* AND its 1:38 in the morning and I have to be up at 8 too...definately worth the lost sleep. Definately.
