The Wolf (147 words)kaylashayOctober 29 2014, 01:16:26 UTC
The door was unlocked as always, so Tony slipped inside the darkened house. He slowly made his way toward the basement door, trying not to focus on the howls that were piercing the otherwise silent house. It had been a month since the attack that had left a ragged wound across Gibbs' chest. And with the rise of the full moon, their fears had been confirmed.
The howl behind the door had turned into a whine and Tony took a deep breath before opening the door. Gibbs was going to kill him once he recovered from whatever wound would be inflicted upon him at Gibbs' claws and teeth. But Tony wasn't going to stand by and let Gibbs face this life alone. Plus, if the way Gibbs had been sniffing around him for the last month was any indication, the wolf would welcome Tony all to enthusiastically.

"Freeze! Keep your hands where I can see them!"
Tony tried not to let fear creep into his voice as he trained his gun on the blonde. It wasn't every day that he witnessed his worst nightmare come to life and then suddenly explode in a cloud of dust revealing a hot but deadly looking woman in its wake.
"When a girl saves your life, a gun to her face is not the proper way to say thanks. Can you point it somewhere else?"
Tony watched speechless as she waggled the pointy piece of wood in a direction other than her chest. He wasn't sure what to do. Technically, he should book her for killing someone in front of him. However, that someone had nicked his neck with sharp fangs and was now scattering in the wind. There probably wasn't even enough left for Abby to detect anything. So Tony fell back to his tried and true method of coping with difficult situations. His mantra of 'what would Gibbs do' looped like a broken record in his head.
"How about you put down the stick and I'll lower my gun and you can tell me what the hell just happened

Poor Tony! He's already got that fear of vampires. ;)
I do think he channeled Gibbs nicely at the end though and while Buffy's never found guns helpful I think she'd respect one enough to at least sorta listen to him.

Prompt: Buffy Summers, Tony DiNozzo
I know it's four words, but it's just two characters. ;)
