Pompeii is BACK !!!

I love this verse. It was nice to have background info on Peter. I wasn't expecting a cross over but it so worked.

I was so worried when we found out who Neil would be fighting, you let it get right to the wire. I'm glad Peter got to keep Neil, for now. It is worrisome that Neil it still in pup mode. Is Tony still stuck in mode, too? What a pair those two will make. ;-)

Glad you enjoyed! I actually have the 3rd installment of the NCIS part of this in progress. I'm hoping to finish it this month. Tony isn't fully stuck in pup mode, but he will have some issues for Gibbs to work through.

Interesting worldbuilding! I was relieved that Peter was working undercover (but he was a trainer!!!) and not really working for Adler. Great job.

Thanks! One of the prompts sinfulslasher had was for Dark!Peter and I was trying to get that without him really being dark in the end. :)

YAYYYYY!!! You don't know how hard it was to come up with something from all the prompt options you gave!!! *curses!!!*

I had this idea for prison!fic with kinda dark!Peter ending up in prison after killing the person that killed El and getting Neal as a cellmate... but no matter what, it didn't really want to go on paper for me. Then the other day I was like, POMPEIIIIIIII!!!!! And I was able to work in my Darkish!Peter who had been to prison and I had this idea of Neal being Adler's slave in a different fic idea... and they meshed so well together.

There are opportunities for follow-ups and prequels/Neal's POV in this... ;)

I love, love, LOVE the idea of dark!Peter in prison with Neal as his cellmate! *makes pleading puppy eyes* And slave!Neal is always a winner, especially when he's an abused slave in Adler's hands. Yum!

There'll definitely be more prompts from me in this 'verse! *makes impatient grabby hands*

Thanks! Yeah, Peter fell for Neal pretty early on. He couldn't not fall for him. And now he will have his work cut out for him going forward.

Awww, even though this is a very unusual setting, I still love how Peter immediately felt the urge to save Neal and protect him \o/ They both work so well in any verse :D I have no doubt Peter will finally bring Neal back from that dark place \o/

I am definitely hoping for more stories in this verse :D

It is an unusual setting. And Peter definitely wanted to save Neal, but he put the job first. He just made sure to buffer Neal as much as possible while falling for him.

sinfulslasher is going to be prompting me forever on this one, so I'm sure there will be more. :)
