Today would have been a nice day to wear long johns. It also would have been nice to remember my scarf. Luckily I at least wore my fleece winter jacket. It's damn cold out...such a change from the 65 degree weather we had 5 days ago. Craziness! I'm starting a strike against Mother Nature until she brings back some warm weather. Who's with me?

Winter Solstice has already happened.
People see this as the marker for the beginning of winter.
Look at it this way.

It's the day which marks the beginning of the days getting longer again.
Before you know it the sun will still be out when we get home after work and spring and summer will be here.

You learn to look at the positives after 10 years of winter's in Maine.:)

I spent 23 cold ass winters in PA and I'm *still* not looking on the bright side. =)

It is too damn cold. Walking from the metro to work is down right fridged. Thank goodness Greg takes and sits and waits with me to get on the Choo-choo or I'd freeze standing on the platform.

Me thinks margaritas might warm me up. But Kayla style:) (aka mostly tequila with a splash of sour to give it flavor:)

I love the use of the word Choo-Choo! I wish I could get Margaritas tonight, but I have a Chriopractor apointment. =( How about Friday?

I hear it's suppose to snow Friday. I actually have a HTML class on Friday. Not sure what time it would get out. And I happen to have some money right now...lol. Cash that is:) Let me talk it over with the Greg-ster and maybe he'll come into DC and meet us so I have a ride home:) Damn choo-choo not cooperating with my drinking schedule.

I will forgive this since you aren't supposed to have this kind of cold down there and I remember how badly the city handles it from the year I spent there.

But cold weather promotes excessive cuddling (as mentioned above), heartens the sould and brings colour to the cheeks, and is an excuse for big heaps of wonderful warm comfy food.
