Yup, I guess it's official. I managed to avoid the place for nine years, but I'm moving back to NYC. WEIRD. But I've accepted a gig stage managing for a little theater in Brooklyn (Company! ♥ ♥ ♥), so now I guess it's a done deal. Except I still need a day job of some kind that actually pays the rent, and also, y'know, a place to live that is not ( Read more... )

Actually, this may not be the ideal situation for you, as I think we both seem to be in the same boat here -- looking for sublet/existing roommate situation to move into, and I'm not even physically in New York yet. I imagine finding someone who is, er, already living somewhere would be preferable, but if things turn out such that you're interested in a potential roommate for future leasing or subleasing endeavors, I would be happy to talk more via email! Yeah, it seems like it's a lot easier to find a place that people already live in than something brand new. Which is weird? But hey, if you get here and I'm still looking, I'd be more than happy to look together! When are you trying to move here?
