My mom sent me Cheryl's Cookies for my birthday and they were DELICIOUS. They were TOO delicious. They barely lasted a week. But the cookie tin sang "Happy Birthday" every time I opened it, which is the sort of thing my mom thinks is hilarious. I don't know if your mom has the same sense of humor as mine--few do--but it's an idea XD

Oh, and somewhere I do have the info for a swanky chocolate shop that makes gourmet truffles and delivers them anywhere in Manhattan by bike messenger. (or at least for one who did that as of two years ago). They were even WEIRDLY cheap. Would she like something like nice chocolates?
