I'm in the middle of rereading Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan series (which, I know, seems kind of uncharacteristic for a lover of gay sci-fi, but whatever, I have a massive crush on Clark and Chavez, and Clancy writes political thrillers like nobody's business). Lolwut. Is it just me, or does it seem kinda Gary-Stuish making a character related to one of Easy? They were hardly the only airborne company in the war!

I always preferred the John Clark novels to the Jack Ryan ones. Without Remorse is still the best book Clancy ever wrote.
