This is the first Remus fic I've read since OotP came out. Congratulations on drawing together all the varied strands that make up this wonderful, flawed human.

It's painful to relive everything that happened, but it's so good to have closure. Excellently-written closure.

Wow. This is fantastic. The transitions and the links between each section were seamless and the writing beautiful. I love your characterization of Remus and his life. You make all the characters real and flawed, but still good and dignified. Very nice handling of Remus having a real relationship with both Sirius and Tonks (and great explanation of him leaving Tonks to go with Harry). Gorgeous ending. Really, really wonderful.

Oh, this is quite, quite lovely. The nonlinearity works so well, and I can follow completely the train of thought throughout the entire thing-- this is how nonlinear narratives should be done. This is wonderful.

Gah. This was beautiful and it broke my heart. It also helped me understand the Remus/Tonks in the book a bit more -- the reason Remus tries to go with Harry, and the reason he and Tonks came together, all that stuff. I really liked the structure of this, the way you interwove the three timelines. Very effective.
