OotP definitely improves upon second viewing, and considering that I liked it a fair bit the first time...yeah. The things that bothered me last time weren't nearly as annoying, if only because I was prepared for them, and the good bits just got better, and I noticed lots of subtle nifty details and suchlike that I missed the first time. I really enjoyed it (GoF is still my favorite but that's probably because it's my favorite book and marks the transition into darkness). I'm thinking of taking a trip to Chicago sometime in October since some of my Macalester friends said I could stay at their place. Will you still be around?
