Wow. Just wow.

The thing about this fic is that it has drawn me in in a way no fic has for a terrible long time. The plotting and the connection and paralelling of Regulus & Draco worked so well. Also I liked that none of it was hysterically dramatic. There are so many lines I just loved -- and I just thought "wow. perfect".

That being said, I'm not sure you need the last two lines -- they are a little twee. But otherwise I really enjoyed it. It is a fic that has made me think -- and I treasure fics that have a brain. :)

And you're probably right about the last lines -- I went through phases where I alternately liked and hated them. Ah, well.

...and the more I think about it, the more I think your criticism's dead on. Those last two lines are gone now. It's nice to be able to just go back and change things that aren't working. :)

Wow. This is really a great read. Your characterization is really well done. And I love the parallels between Regulus and Draco. You don't let your story get bogged down by extraneous and unnecessary details. All of it is pertinent and concise. I don't know what the last two lines were originally, but what you have now is very fitting. A perfect end to this story.

The parallels work superbly here! Wow... The ending paragraphs made me rather teary-eyed. Poor Draco, doing what was right and yet still he still paid for it in the end. That was just perfect. Absolutely perfect. You did a fine job in everyone's characterization. Also loved your portrayal of Regalus. The way this story is written is just.... damn good.
