The roommates are all gathered around the pool area. Kurt is lounging on one of the chaise lounges, plate of pizza in his lap and a tall icy drink on the ground beside him. Rachel is on the lounge next to him, sipping on her own icy drink, wearing her bikini top and pink short short shorts.

I'm just a big fan of this type of fics because you can put in it everyone else reactions to what happen to everyone andd it makes me go rfjedizsjdjeun all the time.

Plus the characterization is super awesome for everyone !

Yay, my first keyboard smash! Being able to have everyone else react was a big reason for me deciding to go about it this way. My original thought was to do this through Kurt's POV, like Kurt experiencing being on a reality show. The more i thought about it, the more I realized that being able to get everyone's POV's and reactions and narration would be more fun, and more challenging, so I'm glad it's working.

I never liked watching the real world on tv but I guess that I would if glee characters were there ;) Your story is very gripping, I'm so looking forward to the next chapter.

In which this is Sam posting anon because I'm on my phone. This is so wonderful and I love the way Holly was incorporated. She's pretty much the perfect person to be a crazy store owner on The Real World. I'm also really excited to see how everything is handled with the Dave stuff, becuase unlike on Glee, everyone is going to know what happened. Also, your Sugar voice is kind of perfect.

At first I was going to use Will, but not only do I just really hate him, but Holly is just perfect as someone to own something so random, and then just take off and leave these random kids in charge.

Yeah, everyone knowing right away what happened makes a huge difference on how Dave as a character will be handled. In canon, he just got off too easily, the only people who know about the kiss are still just Kurt and Blaine and that's just ridiculous. Everyone's going to have a bit of a reaction when they find out.

Sugar is the hardest for me, because she's so easy to take too far. Shannon posted about her on tumblr the other day and it really made me think about the character in a new light (and I rewatched Heart yesterday before I started writing). When I write their dialogue, if I can't hear it in my head as if the actual actor is speaking it, it doesn't work for me. I'm glad Sugar turned out how I wanted her to, since we don't have three years of her to work with.

Oh, but could you maybe pick a specific color for each character instead of switching them around every chapter because it got kinda confusing yeah fffff ;v;

OMG Santana and Puck is perf and I really adore the way youve been writing Sugar! She has so few lines in canon really but your Sugar seems so In Character Effortlessly compared to other fics where their sugar was too...random or intensely therapist-ish or dumb.

I've tried to keep consistent with the colors, but with the exception of Sugar and Santana, I can never remember the exact shade I used for the other ones. So just know Mike will be dark greenish, Rachel is orangeish and Puck is maroonish.

Sugar is hard, because we don't have much to work with for her, but I watched Heart right before I wrote this chapter so I could get her tone right, it's good to know I've succeeded and that she's believable.

I was so concerned with making sure everyone knew what a man I was that I was constantly chickening out and acting like a boy.

There are a lot of great lines in this, but this might be my favorite. On to chapter 4...
