1. Leave a comment to this post!
2. I will give you a letter.
3. Post the names of five fictional characters whose names begin with that letter, and your thoughts on each. The characters can be from books, movies, or TV shows.

przed gave me an H. And, uh, I kind of strayed a little on the fictional thing...but nevermind ;)

Yay!! I must explore the Lewis fandom a bit actually (and get some icons for this new journal!!) I'm also desperate for some Man from Uncle ones (saw that was another of your fandoms from your lovely header ;)) Yes, I definitely need to get tracking icons myself :D

*licks pictures* (well, not Henry, but his girl looks fine!)

A fine selection of H here! Hathaway is so sweet *g* And I loved your Herne spam - puts Take That in their anthropological context! *G*

Yes, I used to know who that actress was, but my brain has finally eschewed most of its 30s movie knowledge. I remember rather enjoying that movie, though :)

Hathway is adorable :D And indeed, Howard needs to fit into any line of quiet, gentle but horny warriors...

Fab list! I'm with you on Jeremy Brett's Holmes. There are a number of Holmes' incarnations I love, but he'll always be my prime canonical one.

I really do need to try and catch up on Lewis sometime. I've seen a few pic spams that were very intriguing.

You watched the Hornblower vid! (I just about made myself cry making that one. I got to the point where I just couldn't watch those last few shots anymore when I was checking timing.)

And let's hear it for Herne and Bound to the Beast! (Love the Herne pic spam, especially the TT entry.)

Oh, I just love the Jeremy Brett series. I think I'm in a minority in preferring Edward Hardwicke's Watson, but I never really took to David Burke, I thought the chemistry in the latter pairing was better. Edward Hardiwicke's just got that lovely, caring streak...and Jeremy Brett's just amazing, of course. Chris got the DVD boxset a while back, and it dominated our lives for some time :)

Lewis is great to watch with your slash goggles on, and Chris loves murder mysteries, so it was inevitable we'd be hooked ;)

Oh, oh, oh...you had me nearly crying watching it, honest :( For reasons I'll explain in an email (not nasty ones) I never quite involved myself in that fandom, but I adore the show, and that pairing could have been one of my all time OTPs. Oh, the pretty!!!! And all your vids are AWESOME!! We watched your LOTR ones last night, Chris is hooked :)

Glad you enjoyed the Herne spam :D Got my artwork to reveal later...in fact, as the parents are arriving fairly soon, better go schedule the post now :D

I have to admit, I'm more of a David Burke Watson gal, but Hardwicke has grown on me over the years. Colditz has definitely helped develop that affection even more.

I never really got into the fandom, but I did adore the Hornblower movies, and Archie in particular. So his ending just about did me in. Poor lad... (I have to admit, the LOTR vids have a special place for me. That's one fandom I did jump into whole-heartedly. Well, the Aragorn/Boromir side of it, anyway.)

I am eagerly anticipating the reveal of the artwork. One of the many pleasures of Bound to the Forest was getting to enjoy that amazing cover every time I put my Kobo to sleep.

I liked David Burke too -- and I definitely know i was in a minority for liking Hardwicke's Holmes better from the start ;) They both had great chemistry :D

Ah, your LOTR vids. Oh yes, the SHEER UTTER BEAUTY OF AROGORN/BOROMIR DESERVES MASSIVE CAPS LOCKS!! I was very into the fandom too, although it was at a stage where I didn't really write, but I read...oh gosh, I read a lot, and pretty much every pairing in the fellowship. But those two together were just....gnngg! While two more butch guys will never be my no. 1 catnip, I certainly appreciated the beauty and the simmering tension.

I adored Archie/Horatio too, and read a lot, although never ficced.

I rather loved my 'Bound for the Forest' cover too. I've had it printed for my wall, actually, but never get around to putting it up...and now I've another, that I need to post! Eeeek! Exciting :D
