The artist has updated her blog. It makes me feel good to see a big company, or even an influential group, try to silence or dismiss the "little guy" only to find out that it just makes them look like asses.

Well, looks like all the blame diverted to the artist who plagarized the work, which is as it should be, but it could have been done in a lot less public and humiliating way. Certainly that artist has learned a lesson, but as for Paperchase, we will have to wait and see.

Eloise was a lot more forgiving towards the artist than I'd have been. Hopefully this is also a warning to other artists who think to take the lazy path. Using the same pose as a reference is acceptable imo, but the dress, shoes, and socks were all way too similar for comfort.
