Seriously, I think I really hate Google Chrome. It's slow and it freezes up all over the place if I have more than 5-6 tabs open. It's true that Firefox also slows down when I open a bunch of tabs...but we're talking after eighty or so tabs. I always have a lot of tabs open and 5-6 is a low number for me ( Read more... )

No, see, it's less resource-intensive because it doesn't let you open as many tabs, so your resource use is low, whereas Firefox lets you be wasteful and do the things you want to do.

nods. When I saw that about Google Chrome, I didn't even try it. Right now, there are 157 tabs in this window .......

and this is one of 6 windows -- but the others only have ~10-15 tabs open in them.
