I have an LJ plus account. The ads actually pretty discreet/out of the way. They don't bother me at all. And I get a few extras because of them. I think it's worth it. I recommend having your ads go down the side. It really keeps them out of the way.
Yeah, it's pretty much identical to my previous car, which was a 2002 Elantra (although that one was a sort of teal color). I'm not sure what this one's specific color is. I was just glad they had a nice one on the lot that wasn't some pukey color (there are some horrendously colored cars out there!).
Hooray for new car! I have the plus account and it's actually the same as regular except for the extra perks that comes with plus and the ads. You get the choice of what subject of ads show and if you have Firefox, it can block out the ads. It's really not that bad. Worth it for the extra stuff.
Yeah, not a fan of the ads, either, but I would feel silly paying for LJ.
Although, I was thinking, I do pay $1.99 a year to take ads off my webpage, but I haven't updated that in nearly two years. So maybe I'll stop doing that and divert that money to getting a paid LJ account or something. But it still feels kind of silly.

I can't type while pregnant. (I blame everything I do wrong on being pregnant, of course)

I don't have the plus account, but I'm not a fan of the ads on other people's journals.
