Lots of people feel for the poor dead horse. I've read that far in the book so I wasn't really surprised when it happened in the show. At this point I've made peace with the fact that this is Game of Thrones, that the books are brutal and that the show is even more so.
After all we live in a world just as brutal as those days, even if the violence is at somewhat differently shown. So it's allright in the end. The story in itself is world-age after all, fight for power and methods of doing it changed little to none- just the material means to do it are more high-tech :DDD
Ha ha, yes there was some gay love there. People are pretty happy about that one, I haven't really warmed up to one of the guys (the one with the long hair) so I am not saying anything to avoid being a wet blanket.
Sandor, the Hound, is really interesting. But Dany and Drogo :D Lots of people love them, and their scene in the book was actually a lot sweeter (people have complained how they portrayed it as rape in the show). I'm very intrigued to see what happens with Dany in the future, but I haven't really fallen in love with her character. Or Drogo, apparently, although he's a hunk. My heart kind of immediately went to all of the Starks and Jon Snow. And Tyrion grew on me really fast. But it is true I have been blown away with the very first episode and I'm not letting that feeling go.
I think most of the shows are having their season finales at the moment. That is what I like about HBO, they don't follow the same pattern as the other networks. So I have Game of Thrones to enjoy and True Blood (horrible show, I love it!) to look forward to soon.
Well, beginning of the third season Eric was kidnapped by the King of Louisiana who was interested in Sookie. Sookie was looking for him with the help of a werewolf Alcide. They've managed to free him but he was almost drained so he fed on Sookie a bit too much. She ended up in a hospital unable to get a transfusion since her blood was weird. Then Bill came back and gave her her blood. Also discovering that drinking Sookie's blood gives vampires ability to walk in the daylight briefly
