Kawalsky,

Do you often run into carnivorous horses in Tortall? If you do, would you mind not ever mentioning that fact to Willow? I would much prefer her not deciding that they are simply misunderstood and trying to bring them to Narnia.

As for not being run through with a sword, that's a rather excellent accomplishment. How does the sword training go?

Married life is good though I admit with both my sisters and Willow at Cair Paravel, one does rather feel outnumbered at times. If I am lucky, some of that imbalance will be rectified in May when Willow tells me I will be a father. That is is we both make it through her pregnancy first.

English,

Congratulations! Can't think of a better guy for the job. Tell Willow congrats from me too.

Sword training goes. I practice when I can, but I'm not great at it. Starting to be able to hold my own. Give me a couple of years and we'll see how it goes.

Lucky for me there aren't any meat-eating horses here. I was trying to get ahead of any horse jokes. I don't fall off as much anymore, although sometimes I think the horses do it just for a laugh.

How'd you go with winter and stocking up on food?

Yo,

Good to hear you're still in one piece. How's things going with Alanna?

I've finally seen the 'gate (can I put that on paper? Probably not.). It's impressive and I can't wait to go through it. Which won't be for a while. I've been offered a position, but there's a bunch of strings attached. Mainly a lot of psych evaluations, training and as much information about what happened to my world as I can give. Seems fair. I'm looking forward to the training bit at least, it will be good to be doing something.

And it's not my place to say, but poke Sam about what she's up to.

Good to hear from you, Cam!

You're probably not meant to put that on paper, but since your mail's coming to a different world, it may not matter a whole lot.

So you're in now? Don't worry about the psych eval. After all, they let me in, right?

You'll do great. Don't worry if you lose your lunch on your first trip through. Happens to plenty of guys. Just make sure you eat something that you won't mind being reacquainted with. I'd avoid the tuna salad.

Charlene!

Life is good. I went to Vegas this week and fought a Nazi made out of bees. (No, seriously. If you ever meet a guy named Tony Stark, don't travel with him.) Teaching history this term, while you're living in it.

You'd like my coteacher. His name is Nathan and he's an army captain from 1876. I could tell him he's an honorary Stickbug but I'm not sure he'd take it as seriously as he should.

Stay away from those man-eating horses.
