Second Floor - Room 223 and Beyond, Wednesday, All Day

The lights were out on the second floor, but that didn't stop Kawalsky from packing up. Most of his stuff was already in a storage locker on the mainland. All that remained was the last box, some stuff to give away and whatever he was taking with him

"Hey, Kawalsky." Parker had both hands behind her back as she wandered to the door. "Shipping out?"

[kawalsky]

"Tonight, yeah. Figured middle of the week's a good time, no temptation to stick around and see what Fandom throws at us this weekend."

[mparkerceo]

"Good plan," Parker said approvingly. "I almost wish I could get out of here sooner, but... anyway." She pulled her hands from behind her back, and held out an origami jet to him, which had USAF Kawalsky on it. And a bottle of 12-year-old scotch. "For the road. Well, stopping on it. You and Sam not being the kinds to drink and swerve."

He laughed at the jet, then admired the scotch. "You know the way to a man's heart, Parkie. You sticking around for the summer or off to bigger and better things?"

"I'm out of here on Sunday, or I'd be trying to tell you how cool this place is and how you should stay," Parker said. "Moscow first, then Rome, L.A., and who knows. I'm working for my dad part of this summer, but I should get a few weeks to myself in between translation jobs."

[kawalsky]

"When you're in Rome," he started and proceeded to describe a little pizza place in the northern suburbs and what it looked like. "They make great pizza."

Parker grinned, and nodded, taking mental notes. "I'll hoist a glass of vino to you when I get there." She held out a hand. "It's been fun, Kawalsky. If you ever need anything, I'm on the alumni network after Sunday."

[kawalsky]

"I'll keep an ear out. Don't go conquering the world until you've finished college, okay?"

"Can I undermine the current administration a little?" Parker asked sneakily. "Just for practice?"

[kawalsky]

"The country's administration? Sure, that's what they're there for. Probably not a good idea to try with the school administration though. Hades and the new guy would be a piece of cake, but I wouldn't wish the wrath of a pregnant woman on anyone."

"True, and she's a better shot than I am. Not a good combination." Parker shook her head. "But if you hear about some kind of turnover in the upcoming elections, remember, I was in Europe. I have an alibi." She grinned. "And if you end up in jail, I want photos."

[kawalsky]

"Photos in exchange for bail money?"

[mparkerceo]

"Works for me!" Parker smiled. "Be careful out there, Kawalsky."

"You bet. Take it easy, Parker."
