Summary: This girl travels to Japan to find her best friend. But in the process of finding her best friend, Johnny happens to hire her. & she’s no ordinary person, like she doesn't do the makeup or whatever. She's the VERY first girl to join Johnny's (and no, she is NOT cross-dressing). And in amidst all her rise to fame, she falls head over heels for someone in JUMP.

The hustling and bustling continued as the Christmas atmosphere was spread. Jump was busy decorating their practice room with garlands, lights, pretty much anything to do with Christmas itself. It was already Christmas Eve and everything must be ready by midnight.

Of course boys would always leave everything until the last minute.

Ami had offered to help, but every member decided against it, so she was stuck sitting on the couch, her eyes going from one member to the next. But her eyes, her deep brown eyes would always, briefly, stop on Daiki as he tried to hand the garland on the wall. She laughed out loud when Daiki was ably to get the garland up to the right place, but now he couldn’t reach the tape that was needed.

Turning her head to where the TV used to be, she saw Ryutaro and Chinen getting the Christmas tree ready. Silver and gold ribbons wrapped around the tree, with matching ornaments. Beads of white were running from the top of the tree to the bottom; the skirt at the base of the tree was beige silk. Strings of popcorn also trailed around the tree, an English tradition Keito and her exposed Jump to.

But as Ami admired the tree, she noticed that something was missing. The star wasn’t at the top of the tree, and this puzzled her so.

As curiosity got the better of her, Ami heaved herself of the couch and wandered over to where the two little boys were getting tied up in ribbons and such.

“My, my, my, the tree looks beautiful.” Ami spoke, smiling up at Chinen who was standing on the step ladder.

“No, you do.” Chinen replied, winking and flashing his cute smile.

Ami chuckled, obviously Chinen hadn’t grown out of adolescence yet.

“Maa~ Chinen, you know Ami’s taken.” Ryutaro said from the bottom of the ladder.

“Psh! I know that Ryu-chan, I was just kidding.” Chinen lightly smacked the top of Ryutaro’s head.

“Itai! At least you can actually reach my head from up there!”

“I mean… wait, WHAT?!”

“Oh, nothing, nothing at all Chinen-kun.”

As the two continued to bicker and argue about height, Ami silently backed away from the scene and approached the gift wrapping table.

“Hey, what are you guys working on?” Ami asked as she approached Takaki, Inoo, and Yuto.

“Nothing!” All three said in unison, while simultaneously hiding their gifts they were wrapping.

“Why did you just…”

“Umm… Ami, why don’t you go help with the food?” Inoo suggested, as he pulled at the collar of his shirt nervously.

“Uhh… okay. Whatever you say captain.”

Saluting the oddly nervous Inoo, Ami wandered once again out into the hall.

Ami leaned her body against the wall, letting her head fall back until the top of her crown was touching the wall.

Maa~ why are they all acting so strange? Oh well… I guess that’s how guys act now days.

Whatever the reason was, Ami shrugged it off and headed towards the kitchen, where most likely Ryosuke would be. At least then she would have someone to talk to.

Hopping down from the ladder, Chinen grabbed Ryutaro’s arm and darted over to the table.

“Hey, did Ami just leave Inoo?”

“Hai~ I sent her off towards the kitchen.”

“Oh, does that mean we can wrap our gifts?”

“Yeah, here’s some paper, ribbon, tape, anything you need really.”

Inoo gestured towards the table with the err… supplies.

“Hey Ryutaro?” Ryutaro turned as he heard Takaki address him.

“Yeah?”

“Can you do something for me?”

“Sure…”

“Go get the rest of the members, everyone has to finish wrapping their gifts for Ami before she comes back.”

“But what about Ryosuke’s present?”

“Oh, that’s already in the fridge, with a big, pink bow stuck on top.”

“Mm... okay then.”

Ryutaro nodded once and was out of the main room, yelling members’ names as he went.

-Kitchen-

“Hey Ryosuke!” Ami shouted from the entrance as she waved her arms around.

“Hey Ami! Wanna come over here for a bit?”

“Sure!”

Within a couple of seconds, she was by his side, already questioning about what he was baking.

“Whoa, whoa, okay. I’ll tell you.”

Ami nodded her head frantically, like a little kid sugar high from cookies.

“You can help by helping me make sugar cookies for the other members.”

“Yay!!!!” Ami squealed as she hopped up and down once more.

“Uhh… Ami?”

“Hai?”

“Are you going to do that for the rest of the night?”

“Umm… probably not. I may just crash and fall asleep before anything interesting happens.”

Ryosuke laughed, wondering how such a girl, a girl who had everything, could be quite so… energetic.

-Practice Room-

A few hours had passed and all the decorations were up, presents were wrapped and everyone was exhausted.

By the time Ami and Ryosuke returned, covered in flour, all the other members were either on the couches or mats.

From behind the couch, Hikaru was waving a white handkerchief around, surrendering to Chinen who was staring at him from the top of a couch with what looked like a piece of ribbon of some sort.

“Chinen, I promise you, if you get that piece of ribbon away from me, I’ll do anything!! ANYTHING!!!”

“Okay, fine then Hikaru! I want you to… Give me a piggyback ride all around the Jimosho!”

Grunting Hikaru sat up and rubbed the back of his head.

“You mean… the entire building?”

“Yeah!” Chinen replied happily.

“Ughh… I don’t want to!”

“And when you’re done, Hikaru, drop me off by Arashi’s room.”

“I…don’t…want…to…do…this…” Hikaru mumbled as Chinen hopped onto his back.

As soon as both of them were out of the room, with Chinen screaming ‘Go faster Hikari-chan!’ Ami and Ryosuke turned toward the rest of the members, both having the same puzzled expression on their faces.

“Anou… What the heck was that?” Ami questioned as she pointed her finger towards the door.

“Well…” Yabu replied as he stood up. “You know how Hikaru hates cats?”

Ami and Ryosuke nodded in unison.

“The ribbon Chinen was holding had little kittens printed on it…” Yabu’s voice trailed off as he watched the jaws of the two drop down.

“Yabu, you aren’t serious are you?” Ryosuke nervously chuckled.

“I’m afraid not Ryosuke.”

Ami had her hands covering her mouth, trying to conceal the fits of giggles that were now erupting.

“Anyways, you two, the fireworks should start soon.” Yabu stated as he put his arms around their shoulders and began leading them away.

“Oh?” Ami looked up at Yabu. “What time is it?”

“Uhh… almost half past 11 PM.”

“Oh my, really? That late? Christmas is almost here!”

“Yeah, so lets get our butts onto the balcony or else we’re gonna miss everything!”

With his arms around Ami and Ryosuke, Yabu shoved the two outside to where the rest of Jump was seated, excluding Hikaru and Chinen.

“Wow… the colors are so pretty.”

“They light up the sky don’t they?”

“I wish fireworks would happen all the time…”

“But there’s always New Years ne?”

“Whoa! Look! It’s in the shape of a star!”

Quiet bickering was being whispered as they watched the fireworks light up the midnight sky; it was finally Christmas day, and everyone was so excited. Even Hikaru and Chinen made it back in time.

As the fireworks died and the night returned to its normal darkness, everyone headed inside, excited about opening presents.

Yabu was already inside, sorting the presents into piles. Everything was colorfully wrapped; reds, blues, greens, gold, silver, all the colors of Christmas was littering the floors and chairs.

Everyone took their seats next to the pile of gifts they had received, some more anxious than others.

Ami decided to sit next to Daiki, since she had requested that the presents be given on her birthday rather than Christmas day; to days of presents was too much to handle anyways.

Yabu stood up and began to address the group.

“Okay, when I say go, you guys can open your presents! Ready…set… GO!”

Wrapping paper was flying every where; ribbons discarded as everyone devoured their gifts.

All the gifts were amazing; Chinen got all the Arashi related things he ever wanted, including three different Ohno-kun uchiwas. Ryosuke got a bunch of strawberry related products, boy did that kid love strawberries. Takaki received lots of hair-related products, including a new hair straightener. Hikaru… well… everyone decided to be mean and get him cat related things. Let us just say that he… freaked out, freaked out a lot. Yabu got a lot of itunes gift cards, I mean, who knew what to get him? Keito, lots of things guitar related, Ryutaro got a bunch of new DS games, Yuto got the joke book he really wanted, Daiki got, of course, that limited edition pocky, and Inoo got a bunch of school supplies. The excuse was that he was attending University now.

Ami had saved her present for last; they had taken her hours to make. She had made ten different scrapbooks, containing pictures of all the good times they had together. On the inside, there was something written, each a heartfelt message to each of the boys. As she watched Yabu pass out the silver wrapped books, the memories began flooding back; like the times they dance and sang of key. The times they had fun at sleepovers, everything was coming back.

She smiled as she watched the faces of each person light up, for each book was personally and specifically made for them.

As she turned to look at Daiki’s expression, her eyes caught at how shaky his hands were as he turned the pages; when she looked up to see his facial expression, his eyes, they were filling up with tears. She watched as Daiki tried to hold it together as he scanned all the pictures. In doing so, Ami entwined her fingers with his and smiled at him.

After looking through the entire book, Daiki looked up at her. The most surprising thing was the words that came out of his mouth.

“Ami, we’ve never kissed before, have we?”

Everyone else gasped as Ami’s eyes grew wide.

“Wait, wait, wait…” Hikaru stood up. “You mean, to tell us, that you two, have not kissed yet?”

“But you’ve been dating for two months now!” Chinen pointed an accusing finger at Daiki.

“Well… we do have an explanation!” Daiki had let go of Ami’s hand and held both of his palms up.

“Well, what is it?” Hikaru demanded.

“It’s just… we’ve been so busy with work and such, the idea of a kiss never really crossed our minds.”

As the reality of Daiki’s words sunk in, everyone’s heads began nodding.

“But you guys should still kiss.” Hikaru replied as he sat back down.

When Daiki turned to face Ami, she was already gone, and by the time he had located her, she was in an intense conversation with Ryosuke and Yuto about how strawberries were the best fruit in the world; it was two against one, you can guess who was against whom. Hint: Ryosuke and Ami versus Yuto.

“We will. I’ll kiss her tomorrow, just you watch me Hikaru!”

“I’m willing to make that bet that you won’t.”

“Oh yeah?”

“Yeah, I’m positive.”

“Then it’s on.”

Daiki and Hikaru shook hands, sealing the bet.

The next day… I have to kiss Ami… or else Hikaru will rub this in my face for years…I shall. I shall kiss her on her birthday.
