Summary: This girl travels to Japan to find her best friend. But in the process of finding her best friend, Johnny happens to hire her. & she’s no ordinary person, like she doesn't do the makeup or whatever. She's the VERY first girl to join Johnny's (and no, she is NOT cross-dressing). And in amidst all her rise to fame, she falls head over heels for someone in JUMP.
While in the dressing room taking off her costume, Ami began to speak to Kaori about having a sleep over at Keito’s house that night. Explaining that she needed her two closest friends by her side while she tried to settle her nerves and be relaxed for Shounen Club. But little did they know Chinen Yuri was listening to every word they were saying, and giggling, he scampered off to tell Yabu.
“A sleep over eh?”
“Yeah, I thought that having my two best friends around would make me feel better.” Ami smiled, as she tried to hide the fact that her hands were still shaking slightly.
Before responding, Kaori reached out and clasped Ami’s hands between her own.
“Ami, it’ll be fine. Even if you don’t win, Keito and I will still be here. We didn’t become your friends because you wanted to be famous. But now that I think about it, you are pretty famous; famous for technically dating Arioka-kun.” Kaori grinned, knowing that she had been able to make Ami blush a bright red.
“Well, i-it’s not officia-al or anythi-ing.” Ami stuttered, trying to keep the blush from turning from a bright red to a dark shade of scarlet.
“See! I cheered you up! Just the thought of Daiki makes you stutter and blush uncontrollably!”
Not willing to give a proper response, she just glared at her friend, knowing that it would set Kaori off the edge to hysterical laughs and fits of giggles.
As the two friends kept giggling and planning the sleepover, Chinen walked in, followed by four other Jump members: Ryosuke, Yuto, Yabu, and Keito. All of whom had nervous looks on their faces. But when Ami laid her eyes on Chinen’s slightly smug expression, she got the jest of what was to come.
Chinen walked, well more appropriately hopped up to Ami and stopped a few inches away, a smirk forming on his very lips as he spoke.
“Ami-chan, I heard that you, Kaori, and Keito were having a sleep over and I was just wondering…” Chinen paused briefly, using his irresistible puppy dog look.
Ami just looked at him, a half amused, half irritated look plastered to her features.
Taking a very dramatic breath in, the little boy began to speak again.
“I was wondering if I, and the rest of Jump, could come too. Since, of course, you love us so much?” He let his puppy dog look take on its full effect.
But the only person who was affected at the moment was Kaori, who happened to be cooing about how cute Chinen was.
But the look on Ami’s face hadn’t changed one bit, and Chinen’s smug smile faltered slightly.
“Chinen,” Ami began, placing her hand on his shoulder.
“I would be happy to have you and the rest of Jump over, that is, if everyone and Keito would allow this change of plans.” Her smile went from amused to coy, she knew for a fact Chinen would get his way, but of course, baiting it was always part of the fun.
Chinen immediately turned to face the four other members, his face blazing the entire force of the puppy dog look. And soon enough, the four boys agreed, weak at the knees due to the cuteness that Chinen captivated them in.
But before Chinen could run off happy dancing, Yabu reminded him, “Remember, you have to ask Daiki, Ryutaro, Hikaru, Inoo, and Takaki.”
Nodding his head violently, he scampered out of the door, screaming in his ever so high pitched voice, “Takaki-kuuuuuuuuuun!!!!”
Then the door slammed shut, closing out the Chinen’s voice from the six that were left. An awkward silence fell as no one seemed to want to talk, let alone feel the need to say anything, that was, until Keito spoke up.
“So, ummm… we will be having a boy girl sleepover?”
“I guess we are, since Chinen basically invited himself and the rest of us to crash your sleepover with your best friend and your soon to be girlfriend.” Ryosuke stated bluntly, his eyes on the ceiling tile.
Ami just shrugged, not caring really about who or where the sleep over was. As long as there was one, lots of games were to be played, and she was a master at games.

Walking from the Jimosho to Keito’s house didn’t take very long, but the fact that when they stopped at the convenience story, Chinen tried to make Takaki but him a lolly pop. But whatever happened, he did get what he wanted.
A little spoiled much. Ami thought as she watched Chinen skipping, holding Takaki’s hand, and eating his lolly pop all at once.
She turned to her right, and of course, her unofficial boyfriend was munching on another box of pocky. God was he addicted to those things. To her left, Ryutaro, of course, was playing his DS, whispering to himself about ‘how he must defeat the…’ She wasn’t sure, he was muttering to himself about some game.
Inoo, Takaki, and Yabu were all discussing about school work. While Ryosuke and Yuto were listening to music, talking about nothing in particular. And there was Keito, and Kaori who were… how can I put this? Hmmm… flirting.
Ami laughed at the way Kaori flipped a piece of her hair way too much and the way Keito couldn’t hide his blush. It was cute but still, it made her giggle. Like the way Daiki made her feel. She sighed, wishing that life could pause and stay like this forever.
Daiki noticed Ami’s daydream mode; the glazed over look in her eyes was the tall tale sign that she was in lala land. Being as quiet and as swift as possible, his hand wrapped around Ami’s, binding them together for the walk to Keito’s house. Everything was perfect.

They arrived at Keito’s house around six o’clock, Just as the sun began to set over the hill in the horizon.
Now that Ami thought about it, she never had been to Keito’s house before, at least not in Japan. And when they came up the driveway, it looked just like the house back in England.
The house had a majestic feel, kind of like a castle, and it was a two story house, including an attic says Keito. The drive up to the house had perfectly trimmed bushes, all the way up to the front oak door. Beside, on each side of the door, there were two trees standing there, shading the front porch. To the side, there was a nice garden, filled with pretty flowers and wonderful smells. Most likely the doing of Keito’s mom.
As they entered the house, Ami realized something. The house looked exactly the same, except in Japan. Everything she remembered from Keito’s English house was here, from the billiards table to the kitchen ware. She gasped, at how the room brought so many memories, and yet, they had the feel that new ones will be made. She felt at home.
Living alone gets kind of, well lonely. Her dad worked long hours and was usually out of town on business. Her mom, an aspiring artist was traveling the world at the moment; she was in France right now, at some art show.
Ami took a deep breath as the familiar smell of pine and Mrs. Keito’s cooking wafted around her.
Then, out of no where, Chinen ran up the steps and into Keito’s room.
“Keito! Keito! Keito!” Chinen screamed once he was inside the older boys room.
“What are we gonna do? Hmmmm? What are we gonna doooooooooo?”
Then he was off running, bouncing off the walls as he went down the hall, darted around a corner and into the game room slash media center.
Calling from the other room, they all heard his high pitched voice shriek, “Are we gonna sleep in the game room????!!! Please! It’ll be fun!”
Keito, being afraid that Chinen might break something, dashed upstairs while the rest of them trudged up the steps lazily.
The Best members sighed as they made themselves comfortable on Keito’s wrap around couch. While Ryosuke, Yuto, and Ryutaro helped themselves to some snacks.
Ami and Kaori were on the floor, getting ready for a game of cards with Chinen and Keito.
As the three boys came back from their journey of snack hunting, the T.V was turned on, snacks were opened and the sleepover began.
After the card game became intense between the four on the floor, with Yuto rooting Ryosuke over his shoulder, Hikaru began speaking to no one in particular.
Hikaru, with his head hanging over the arm rest and his face looking up at the ceiling, started speaking in a bored but blunt voice.
“Maa~ I think I like Maemi best.”
Immediately the chatter stopped, the card game froze and all eyes were on Hikaru, all of them had an expression of utter disgust.
Chinen, having the sharp tongue, began to yell at him.
“HIKARU! I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU WOULD SAY SUCH A THING!!!! THAT GIRL IS A SLUT AND SHE RUINED A PERFECTLY GOOD ARASHI SONG!!!!! IS THAT WHAT YOU CALL A GREAT GIRL?!??!?!?! DAMMIT HIKARU!!!! YOU ARE MORE OF A PERVERT THAN I THOUGHT YOU WERE! I BET YOU ONLY LIKE HER BECAUSE OF THE CLOTHES SHE WAS WEARING!!!”
Huffing, Chinen turned his back on the older Best member, only to soon after to turn, glare at him and then it happened.
Using his ninja skills, Chinen flicked a card across the room, hitting Hikaru smack in the forehead, send the member tumbling over the arm rest. A small cry of pain could be heard from the other side of the couch.
Keito, Ami, Ryosuke, Yuto, and Kaori all had a look of shock on their faces. Even Ryutaro, who put down his game console, was gawking at the shortest seven member.
Feeling a lot of eyes on him, Chinen tried to explain.
“What? I took karate when I was little. Is that so surprising?”
Mumbling something to him self, the little boy turned his attention back to the game, barking at the three other players to pick up their cards.
The evening went on nicely, a game of truth or dare even started. And Hikaru, who’s still dying in the corner didn’t feel very well and didn’t want anyone to come near him, especially the ninja Chinen. But being the meanie he was, Chinen chucked a stuff cat toy at Hikaru, getting in returned a loud shriek and the best member was later found in the bathroom, in the fetus position.

After hours of pigging out, embarrassing dares, and lots of music, the ten boys went to bed, leaving the two girls to themselves in another room.
“Kaori! What should I do?! I don’t know how to thank Tsubasa for the costume…” Ami gave an exasperated sigh.
“Well, maybe you could write a letter?”
“AHA! That’s a good idea!” Hopping up, Ami ran into Keito’s room, grabbed a bunch of pencils and paper from his desk and dashed back to ‘the girls’ room.’
As the late night became dawn, Ami tried to perfect her letter when Kaori fell asleep.
Around four in the morning, the door of her room creaked and a small, black haired head popped in. Pushing the door slightly, Ami could get a better view of the boy: Chinen Yuri.
“Anou…. Ami-chan? I don’t mean to be a bother but…” He trailed off, fiddling with the buttons on his pajama top.
“Yes…?” Ami asked, curiosity illuminated in her eyes.
“I was… wondering if I could sleep with you?”
Reading his eyes, she could see the truth in them; the innocence.
“But Chinen, aren’t you older than me? Shouldn’t you be in the other room with your band mates?”
“Yes, and yes but still… Takaki snores too much and I can hear the music Yamada’s blasting from his head phones and I can’t sleep. I just lay there, tossing and turning. But when I was getting a drink, I saw the light in you room on and I just….”
“Just what Chinen?” Ami said in a gentle voice.
“I… I just wanted to see if you were awake.” He replied softly, his voice barely audible.
“Well, I guess in that case, you can sleep with me…” Ami replied, a little reluctant as she scooted over in her bed.
Quietly, Chinen approached her, climbed into bed, and sat beside her, eyeing the notepad in her hands curiously.
“What’s that?” He said, pointing to the letter in her lap.
“Oh, this? It’s just a letter I was going to write.”
“To who? Please! You can tell me!” Chinen smiled, flashing her one of his innocent smiles.
“To Tsubasa-sama.”
“Oh, how come?” Worry lines creased his face as he recalled the incident at Lapappillon.
“She was the one who made my costume Chii-chan…”
“Un….”
“Well, we should get to sleep; it’s already a quarter past four in the morning. Night Chii-chan.”
“Night Ami-chan.”
With that, both of them climbed under the covers, sleep taking over them as soon as their eyes closed and off to dream land they went.

As soon as the two were fast asleep, the door creaked opened once more. Revealing Arioka Daiki, who was checking up on Ami.
As he tip toed over to her side of the bed, leaning in close to see her face in the sunrise light.
Her face looked so peaceful, the picture of a perfect sleep Daiki thought to himself. And being as quiet as possible leaned in and lightly kissed her on the lips.
While he made his way across the room and out the door, he heard her say:
“I love you… Daiki.”
And he smiled, and whispered back, “I love you too Ami…”
