Summary: This girl travels to Japan to find her best friend. But in the process of finding her best friend, Johnny happens to hire her. & she’s no ordinary person, like she doesn't do the makeup or whatever. She's the VERY first girl to join Johnny's (and no, she is NOT cross-dressing). And in amidst all her rise to fame, she falls head over heels for someone in JUMP.

It was the day. Audition day, and all the girls were running around like scared chickens, except for two people. Ami and Maemi were sitting across the room from each other, sending death glares in the others direction. What they should’ve been doing was getting their stuff ready, costumes, make-up, yada yada. But of course, Ami had Kaori, her best friend with her while Maemi had her little minions doing everything for her. Hateful hag.

The clock ticked seconds past, minutes, hours. Until it was 2 hours before the official audition began. If the dressing room was in frenzy before, it now looked like a tornado hit it. Discarded parts of costumes littered the floor, make-up strewed all over the counters.

They removed the poster with the graffiti on it and replaced it with a fresh one. No one from JUMP saw the hateful words that were written on it. Those very words echoed in Ami’s head as she made her way down the hall, to the room where the audition would be held.

Go back to England…You don’t deserve Arioka Daiki…

Those words haunted her all night. But what could she say? That she was going to give up and let Maemi win this round? No. She wouldn’t do that; she would never do that, ever. And even if she told them, what would they say? She didn’t even have proof, and Maemi already denied that she did it, even though her name was signed at the bottom.

But she put those thoughts out of her head, only worrying about what the choreographer is going to make them do for the first part of the audition. Since this was the first girls audition, they would be a little more difficult and have more demanding tasks.

The first part is to learn a dance on the spot. You were given one hour to memorize and then you ere thrown into costumes to perform for the judges. The second part is when ten girls were eliminated, leaving fifteen standing. You were then split up into three groups, each consisting of five members. Then you were told to learn an entire new dance and perform it together. The third part was when it got really competitive. Twelve girls were eliminated, leaving only three for the grand prize. This was the biggest part of the competition; so much rivalry was going on. This was the finale, each of the three girls got to perform their own solo, a song of their choosing with the costume of their choosing. What was unique about this was you had to come up with your own choreography, unless of course you were singing one of Jump’s songs. And the hardest part about this was that there weren’t three judges now, but Hey! Say! JUMP would be judging. Talk about nerve wracking.

Just thinking about how difficult it would be to pass each stage made Ami want to run out of the building and hurl. But she couldn’t let Maemi win, she wouldn’t let Maemi win.

If she went down, she was going to take Maemi down first.

After a few moments Ami stood in front of the large doors of the audition; of her fate. Thanks god she had Kaori was at her side or else who knows what could’ve happened.

Feeling shaky and light headed, Ami placed her hands on the door handle, not willing it to open just yet. She turned to Kaori, her eyes speaking for herself.

In response, Kaori turned, spoke a few encouraging words to her and then Ami pushed the door opened. A bright light engulfed her as she stepped through.

She felt the doubt melt away as her confidence began to grow, absorbing her every though. She didn’t feel afraid anymore, but confident enough to feel she could take over the world in this second.

The fire was back in her eyes as she made her way across the room, head held high and chin out. She felt like a queen.

Looking around, all the bickering and chattering amongst the other competitors ceased when she entered. And at once, Ami knew that they were friends or acquaintances of Maemi, who of course made every one of them turn on her. Defiantly not a good way to start a competition.

But this was her rivals doing and Ami was sure, almost certain she will beat Maemi, no matter the cost.

When reaching the judges table, Ami gave each of them a small bow and grabbed the piece of paper with the lyrics of the song written on it.

The tops of the paper read: Ultra Music Power.

She felt very amused, since hanging out with Jump did have its perks. She memorized every part of this dance since she was always present at their rehearsals.

Just looking at the side where all the dance moves were printed made her stifle laughter.

Then the judges blew their whistles which signaled the girls to stretch and get ready for 2 hours of dancing. It was still nine in the morning, and they had a long way to go before the day was over.

The first auditions went by great. Ami knew every move they threw at her. Heck, she could’ve danced the dance backwards if she had too. But she wasn’t the only one who passed. Maemi did too. And when they heard both of their names announced one after another, each girl shot a death glare of her own at the other. Things were getting heated even more.

As the last name was called, the judges broke the fifteen girls up, dividing them into three groups. Ami sighed in relief as Maemi was in the other group, chatting happily with her so called best friends. Just looking at her made Ami want to gag to death.

The second part of the auditions went as smoothly as the first did, but with an even tenser atmosphere. If you were to walk into the room right at this moment, you might even find some electricity in the air.

As the third judge announce the three girls who will be moving on, the ten Jump members made their way into the room, Yabu Kota leading.

When the latter entered, Ami’s breath caught in her throat as she laid eyes on her boyfriends, yes her boyfriend, Arioka Daiki. When his eyes met hers, he gave her his sweet, innocent smile and winked at her, then continued to proceed to his seat.

Just seeing him made her heart jump and the butterflies she had made her stomach ache like crazy. Is this what love felt like? She wished she knew, but she had other things to worry about now.

The rest of the girls were dismissed as Ami, Maemi, and some other girl made their way back to the dressing room. It was lunch break and they were exhausted.

Grabbing her water bottle, Ami began to sip it slowly, trying not to hurl right then and there.

After some minutes passed, Kaori rushed into the room, holding a bag with what looked like might be her costume.

Before Ami could question her, Kaori pulled her out of the room and into the now deserted Jump practice room. Then she reached into the bag and pulled out Ami’s costume.

It was exquisite, since she had Tsubasa design especially for her for this occasion.
The outfit consisted of a white shirt covered with a black vest with a low back that ties around the neck, underneath that was a skirt that reached the top of her knee, but on the short side. There were also leggings that reached just under the skirt and she had white boots with cute little black butterflies’ adorned on each shoe. Her dress also had a ribbon belt, with little butterflies dangling all over, fish net like gloves that covered her hands with ribbons hanging off the ends. To complete this butterfly inspired look, she had a thin ribbon that’s suppose to tie around her neck, with a little butterfly hanging in the middle.

Just looking at the outfit made Ami feel more confident. It also said to her that Tsubasa really put in a lot of effort into this master piece. Boy did she have a really long thank you letter to right her.

Without a doubt in her mind, Ami felt ready. Even more ready than when she knew Daiki was for her.

Smiling at Kaori, she grabbed the costume and ran into the bathroom; feeling more excited then ever, so much so that when she was putting in the clothes, Ami could feel herself shaking.
