Summary: This girl travels to Japan to find her best friend. But in the process of finding her best friend, Johnny happens to hire her. & she’s no ordinary person, like she doesn't do the makeup or whatever. She's the VERY first girl to join Johnny's (and no, she is NOT cross-dressing). And in amidst all her rise to fame, she falls head over heels for someone in JUMP.

Hopping into Lapapillon, Ami was excited of the major shopping spree she was just about to begin. A few moments later, the rest of JUMP entered the store.

Funny. You would never think that the group of boys would enter the store, but there they were. Maybe they were looking for something too? That would be highly doubted, but what could they do? They were the ones who invited Ami to go shopping in the first place.

As soon as the boys entered the store, Ami was feverishly going through the racks of clothing. Looking for nothing in particular; maybe something that caught her eye would be nice.

While bulldozing her way through the clothing, Ryutaro called from a few feet away.

“Oi, Ami! How do you afford the stuff here? It’s so expensive!”

Turning to face Ryutaro, Ami quickly responded, “My father works for this company. I thought I already told you that? Now…where was the shirt that I saw…” Within seconds, her thought process was once again, lost in the clothes once more.

After some minutes passed, Ami had an arm load of clothes, which she handed over Keito. And as soon as she had that done, Ami made her way across the store to the women’s shoe section.

While looking through the shelves, one pair caught her eye. They were a pair of white satin wedges with ribbons and a butterfly bow that she happened to really like. But while she was just about to request the heels, she was stopped by a young girl. She could be no older than herself.

The girl who stopped her began to speak.

“I’m sorry, but I’ve already reserved those pair of shoes for myself.”

Glaring at her Ami responded, “Reserved? I didn’t think that you could reserve the items here.”

The other girl raised her eyebrow, Ami noticed, and began to speak once more. “You certainly can, for up to ten days. However, I have the privilege of reserving it for the rest of my life.”

Ami scoffed. This was unbelievable. And being as short tempered as she was, the words came out of her mouth anyways. “You? Who are you, a stuck-up teen, to decide how this shop is run?”

The girl laughed and said, "Stuck up? Maybe, but I know a few things that you don't..."

Ami’s eyebrows were raised in curiosity now and the girl kept on laughing. But her answer shocked the girl.

“Well, that may be true but maybe next time, if you are reserving a pair, ask someone to put it in the back room.”

Ami smirked and turned on her heel, leaving a flabbergasted teen behind.

As Ami returned to where Keito was standing, she removed the mountains of clothes from his arms. He let out a sigh of relief as the weight disappeared.

She smiled and said, “I’m going to the dressing rooms.”

A bunch of Okays were mumbled from the boys as she walked away.

When she neared the dressing room, she saw someone sitting in one of the chairs. He kind of looked familiar. She turned to where all the boys were and began to count heads.

One, two, three, four…Wait, there are only nine boys! Who’s missing?

Then it dawned on her, it was Daiki who was sitting in the chair, alone. Not wanting to disturb him or make him angry in any way, Ami slipped into the nearest dressing room.

She took a deep, cleansing breath as she quietly shut the door behind her. The clothes she had in her hand, she began to hang them up on the hangers provided. Sighing, she grabbed the first things she saw, a pair of skinny jeans and a tank top, and put them on.

With as much confidence as she could muster up, Ami walked out of the dressing room and approached Daiki.

“Anou… Daiki? Can you tell me if this looks okay?”

Daiki looked up and the only response she got was a cold stare and a shrug.

Huffing, Ami went back into the dressing room. Seeing that she had picked out so many clothes and she was getting more and more irritated by the minutes, she abandoned the idea of her little shopping spree. Instead, she changed back into her clothes and marched right up to Daiki.

She was as nervous as hell. This was more nerve-racking than what she had done earlier: ask Daiki how she looked. This time, she wasn’t going to be so lenient. And before she could stop herself, she was telling him off.

“Why Daiki, why? Why are you so cold to me?!?! What have I done? Was it because I’m best friends with Keito? Or is it because of another reason? How come you don’t look at me? You just give me that icy stare of yours and it’s just driving me crazy! Do you know what you’re doing to me?!?!?”

Ami could feel the tears running down her face now. Instinct took over and she bolted out of the front doors.

Ami’s words echoed in his head.

Why are you so cold to me?!?! What have I done? … Do you know what you’re doing to me?!?!?

The meaning of her words had sunk in and he realized his mistake.

Avoiding her and treating her this way was… was just not right. Within seconds, Daiki was out the door, chasing after her.

And the girl Ami had a little argument with earlier was a witness to all of this.

Ami didn’t know where her legs were taking her, but she didn’t care. All that was on her mind was that she had to get as far away from Daiki as possible. And soon enough, she ran into a park and kept on running.

After what seemed like centuries, Ami was tired and worn out. She took a seat in front of a large oak tree; she pulled up her legs with her arms wrapped around them, placed her head on her knees and began sobbing.

She stayed like that for a while.

In the distance, she could hear footsteps, but she wasn’t sure if she heard it right. Her hearing was impaired due to the sobs she couldn’t stop. So she brushed it off and continued with her crying; the tears an endless stream down her cheeks.

He found her by the great oak tree in the park; shoulders shaking and sobs could be heard from behind her arms. With quiet footsteps, he approached her and sat down. Waiting for the sobs and quiet cries to subside.

When he could hear just sniffles and a hiccup here or there, she lifted her head slowly. Tears were running down her pink cheeks, each tearing his heart into pieces.

As she lifted her head slowly, her eyes met Daiki’s gaze. The look in his eyes were different now; they didn’t have that cold, icy stare she had known for so long. Instead, she saw warmth, and regret in them. Ami smiled, a small smile, but that was all he needed.

Soon, Daiki was wiping her tears away, holding her and whispering sweet things she longed to hear him say. It was then that she realized that Daiki was hers, and no one could ever take that away.
