Summary: This girl travels to Japan to find her best friend. But in the process of finding her best friend, Johnny happens to hire her. & She's no ordinary person, like she doesn't do the makeup or whatever. She's the VERY first girl to join Johnny's (and no, she is NOT cross-dressing). And in amidst all her rise to fame, she falls head over heels for SOMEONE in JUMP. Sorry. No hints xD
The crisp wind of the closely approaching autumn swirled through Ami’s hair as she walked to her new school. Horikoshi Gakuen High School.
Yes she’s fourteen. Yes she’s in high school. And yes, she is in 9th grade. Why? Well, with a GPA of 4.35, who wouldn’t accept her?

Walking into the school, Ami approached the shoe lockers to grab her indoor shoes. While changing fro on pair of shoes to the next, she began to take in the feel of the school.
It was like any other school Ami has attended, with the exception of everyone speaking Japanese rather than English. A group of girls in the corner gossiping and pointing out the guys they do or don’t like. Boys running around, kicking a soccer ball at the front entrance. A typical high school. And of course Ami fit in, she looked ordinary enough.
Satisfied with the look of the school, Ami finished putting her shoes away and headed up the stairs to her home room.

- Homeroom: Class A, Room 3B -
Walking into home room, Ami saw any normal site. Girl friends greeting each other and saying how much they missed them. Guys sulking around already bored of school. Of course, no one took notice of her. After all, she was an ordinary girl, nothing special about her or that they know of.
A few minutes later their homeroom teacher, Masaru-sensei, walked in and called the class to order. What followed were the students greeting the teacher and Masaru-sensei introducing Ami to her fellow class mates. The things sensei said were pretty generic.
“Class, please welcome Fujioka Ami. Everyone be kind to her please, Ami, you can sit behind Haruno Kaori.”
Sensei gestured to a petite girl with bangs swept to the side of her face and medium length black hair that happened to be waving her hands.
Nodding to Masaru-sensei, she made her way down the isle to where Kaori was seated.
“Ohayo gozaimasu! Haruno Kaori-desu! Hajimashite!”
“Hai, nice to meet you too.”
What a great start to the first day of school! I hope it’s like this for the rest of the day.
With a genuine smile, Ami took a seat behind the very energetic Kaori.

- Lunch Time -
“Hey!”
Kaori popped up in front of Ami.
“Oh, hey Kaori. Nani desu-ka?”
“Do you wanna join me and my friends for lunch?”
“Uhh… sure?”
“Great!”
Grabbing Ami’s arm, Kaori dragged her out of the class room to ‘their’ lunch spot.

After two minutes of running and tripping down the stairs, the two girls arrived in the court yard.
“There! That’s where we eat our lunch! And where you’ll be eating your lunch too!”
Ami’s gaze followed Kaori’s pointed finger to a giant Sakura tree.
“Oh! The tree is huge!”
“I know! It provides us shade during the hot months.”
“That’s cool”
“Come on! You have to meet everyone else!”
Kaori began tugging on Ami’s sleeve and soon enough, they were both running across the court yard.
As the tree grew larger with every step, Ami slowed down and was greeted by a lot of people. Boys and girls a like were found chatting and joking around. She recognized some girls who were in her home room, Mei, Rei, and Yumi. There were also two guys from her home room, Shou and Hideki but there was another boy with that that Ami didn’t recognize at first.
- Over by the boys -
“Hey Keito, Shou! It’s the new girl,” Hideki acknowledged while hitting Shou in the back of the head.
“Itai! Hideki! What was that for?!”
“Nothing. I just felt like hitting you.”
Well… boys will be boys no?
Shou grumbled and murmured an insult that only he himself could hear. But after recovering from the uncalled blow, he began to speak.
“Hey, did you guys know she’s fourteen?”
“Whoa! Really? No way!” Hideki blurted.
At this point, both of the boys were gossiping about ‘the new girl’ like some, actually most, of the schools in the school.
Keito sighed. He honestly didn’t care about a new girl student. All he wanted was for school to be over so he could hang out with JUMP during dance practice. But of course, it was only noon and school would end in three hours.
Feeling bored out of his mind and not wanting to join in the gossiping frenzy between Shou and Hideki, Keito allowed him self to be slightly curious about the new girl.
Maa~ why the hell do these two gossip like girls? It get’s really annoying. Hmmm… but I’m also wondering what the new girl looks like. Maybe a peek wouldn’t hurt?
As Keito finished his though, he turned his head just enough to see her face.

In his mind, the shock turned into confusion.
It’s her! What is she doing here? At my school?! I could’ve sworn she was fourteen.
And then, reality came back and slapped Keito in the face.
Maybe she’s really smart? If she is, she must’ve skipped a grade…
The Shou’s voice broke through Keito’s thought process.
“-and she’s from England too!”
“Really? Suggoi!” Hideki bellowed.
“Wait, Shou, Hideki. She’s from England?”
Both boys nodded their heads in unison.
So that’s why I recognized her from the other night. England. Me and her. Best friends forever…Is that why she’s in Japan now?
