Summary: I feel lazy, but I'll try anyways. They were meant to be, the two of them. But one moment changed everything and tore them apart. This is why the present is now and what had happen was the past; he misses her, she misses him. But neither knew the other still felt the same way.
The starting bell rang and we walked down the long path
We wish for eternal happiness
I remember the day, the day I confessed. You had accepted me with no doubt in your eyes. I thought I was in a never ending happiness.

As soon as I got home that day, I ran up stairs and grabbed my guitar. Homework forgotten, I began writing a song. A song just for you.
With a sparkle that is soft and pure you shone
I may be slightly sadder than normal because it feels further than usual
Your smile could have brighten up my day; your laugh made the stars sparkle. Everything about you, I was fascinated by. By as we began drifting, the warm feeling I felt... it seemed it was drifting, drifting far away.
