So I decided to go up to Best Buy -- not the one opening on Friday, obviously -- and saw there were job postings. So I went up to the guy stationed at the front entrance and asked him if these jobs were actually open ( Read more... )

Yay for talking to Andy! And yeah, that's what I've heard about Best Buy interviews too - if your application makes it through, you've still got to pass three interviews. A friend of mine was applying there recently and had two of the three; I wasn't around to find out if she had the third, but she ended up at a bookstore instead. Oh well. It would be neat if you made it!

Sorry the Apple Store positions didn't fit you. ^^;

Yay for Andy indeed. I hadnt talked to him in I dont know how long. Hes my best friend, and at one time, was about the only person who could keep me grounded. Im better for it and better now, but hes still REALLY important to me.

Three interviews seems like a lot. I can see two. But I guess the store manager wants his/her own interview. Makes sense I guess. I just have to sit on my hands and wait a few weeks to see what comes of it all.

As for Apple ... I just dont have the Apple experience. And even for cashiers, they want retail experience, and I only have three months worth if I dig back to my B&N days, which is going back to 1999!
