::laughs:: I haven't read the book in ages, but have you see the movie? They spend almost all their shared screen time playing "whose sword is bigger" and being angsty and having Meaningful Moments. I need to re-read the books, though, because my main memory at the moment is that Caspian should not be five years older than Peter. In my head, that just makes for more of a case for them to be paired. :D

Been ages since I read the book too. I think Caspian was slightly older--mid-to-late teens vs. early teens. CS Lewis never was specific about ages, though, so you can choose whatever you like.

I mostly remember them having only a touch of tension but generally getting along okay. I've never seen the movie, but I think I must as both a CS Lewis fan and as a slash fangirl.

I had quite the crush on Caspian when I read the books in jr. high, btw.
