Writing is horribly therapeutic - even if it's stream of consciousness. Especially if it's stream of consciousness.

Ah, do I ever know the Hell Week Panic Attacks!

Well, your situation doesn't seem hopeless. My ADs were screaming and running and not sleeping and making general fools of themselves, thereby stressing out the rest of the cast. So that's a plus! Good job! Keeping your head about you is most important.

That Hell Week was sure a bummer, man. We were doing Antony & Cleopatra. The day before opening night, we had a sixty-four item To-Do list, which had shrunk only from eighty-four items that Monday. So, not good. Among those items were: Do programs, assemble armor for the 20 soldiers, build the second story of the set, paint the floor, etc.

Not good.

So, at least you are doing well! Dress rehearsal may go poorly, they always do, but don't you worry. So long as you are brave and levelheaded, it will be all right in the end.

::loves your icon::

Oh, Shakespeare. Wonderous, but full of headache. Lucky us, we have Shakespeare AND Stoppard. ::beats head on desk:: It's really fantastic, but we're so far beyond the line of sanity it has turned into a dot.

I keep getting into these Not Fights, which tend to knock me over the edge, which, obviously, doesn't help with my stress levels, and I don't think it's good for other involved parties either. ::shrug:: We always get over it, it's only a matter of time (generally not horribly much time, either, which is a new thing for me, as I've been known to hold grudges). Not that any of this has any bearing on your show, or even mine, really, given the division between private and show. It's just very late, and once I start going, I can't seem to stop.

Anyway, I hope your show went well. :)
