Yeah, I know, when I typed in 8/9 in the title box I was like, seriously? Already?
I actually combined the last chapter and the epilogue and turned it into chapter 9 instead of a both chapter 9 and then another chapter, the epilogue, because of when school was starting. Same amount of fic, just two chapters at the same time, basically...if that made any sense, lol.

That is just horribly cruel to leave the chapter like that. Now I'll be hanging onto the edge of my seat until the next update.
Beautiful chapter by the way. Ianto is a highly disturbing character in this story, I get the creeps when I read it but it's a good thing. I think XD

Cruel and unusual! Kinda saw that's how it'd end though, damnit.

For some reason I couldn't help but think that Jack and co were going to barge in to find John dead on the ground, with Ianto holding the gun. Then Ianto would convince them that he'd been driving to get away from John who then attacked him and he killed him in self defence. And then they'd all live happily ever after XD Ahem, or not...

Can't wait to read the end!

That was definitely one thought that went through my mind - although Ianto wouldn't have been able to kill with a gun - to him it is too messy and uncontrolling. And if there is one thing that Ianto hates, it is to not be in control.
