Jack and John's relationship shall be revealed as the chapters continue. Actually, I have a stand-alone oneshot that I will post after this that I'm working on completely about John and Jack's relationship and how much the accident that crippled Jack changed him.

Technically, there is 10, including the prologue and epilogue. Hehehe. :-)
As previously mentioned, I'm working on a oneshot, and I /might/ do another longfic.

Dang! Ok, this just got a lot more complicated, and I can't help but wonder just who Ianto would kill if/when he finds out: Jack, or John.

I already don't like John's character in this, but I do suspect this is something you're doing on purpose. He's really a jerk, isn't he?

Well, John is an interesting person in all of this. I'm hoping that, the way I've written him now and in time to come, you will have no idea how to feel about him. Hatred in the beginning is definitely good though. -.^

I'm trying to keep a lot of parallels, so I figured that in Torchwood, Jack kissed John, so in my verse, Jack should do that too. ^_^ plus, it was fun.
