Maybe I'm sentimental, but the ending of Brothers Lionheart makes me cry.

Yes, I'm drinking tea and watching a movie in a language I understand only intuitively instead of sleeping. And it's already past 3am.

But the story is so wonderful! And to think that I haven't got the book. I must have it.

Brothers Lionheart :D I remember reading that as a kid way back in Finland years ago - I love Astrid Lingren. The Bullerby Children is one of my favourite books of all times.

I read the book when I was eleven or so.
I'm not sure which is my favourite book by Astrid Lindgren. Right now it feels like I love the Brothers the best :)
