It was not. In fact, it was incredibly stressful and sensorily overwhelming and I came close to meltdown several times. I didn't stick around for the reception or the champagne toast and I very nearly didn't get the professional photos taken (husby convinced me and I'm glad he did.) Fortunately my husband knew where to look for me: Look for the least densely populated area on the outskirts of the crowd and lo! - there I was, out in the foyer beside the doors, putting on my jacket *lol* He took me out to dinner after and the restaurant was quiet and dimly lit, a big relief. But I didn't go to dance class after, I was just tooooooo overwhelmed and exhausted.
Aw :\ I didn't feel overly stressed about my grad until the people around me began screaming (literally) at pretty much every announcement, and then I developed a hideous migraine during the ceremony. It would have been okay if not for the migraine.
