Linux Mint 9

Linux Mint 9 'Isadora' is almost out of beta and should be moving into Release Candidate soon. This is FAST, considering that Ubuntu 10.04 'Lucid Lynx' was only released yesterday :3 So, Linux Mint 9 should be released as stable fairly soon, probably in the next few weeks

I do not understand :/, you are taking computer classes but I've always thought you know all this stuff. Geez, I'm so far behind that I don't even realize how far behind I am *arrrgh*

*LOL!!!* Love, there is so much involved in a "computer." There is hardware, there is BIOS which runs the hardware, there are operating systems that play go-between, and there is software that gives the orders to the operating system. The world of software is vast, there are many, many choices of software to do similar tasks, but they all work a little differently. And if you don't have a need for a particular task, you're not going to learn to use software that performs it, are you? While I know my way around a computer and have a good general understanding of how the system works, I'm weak in an awful lot of now-common office software, software that wasn't even around when I first took the secretarial course back in '89 - '90. That is what I'm taking at school.

I gather you'd like the clothes log to continue? ^_^

Oh GAWDS - I am so ready for the obsolete plan. I am seriously thinking about taking at least some course to get me more up to speed.

Yais - I would love for the wardrobe to continue - I'm currently trying to dump stuff that's older than you are ;~)
