Yesterday we started Introduction to Computers, and Keyboarding 101. I learned to use a mouse. It has three buttons, or maybe two buttons and a wheel. I learned that if I use the mouse to click the little X at the top of the window, it will close the window. I learned about the keyboard. It has a Home Row. I feel your pain; I used to teach that intro to computing stuff to people, many of whom had difficulty learning or issues with memory. It was a long slog.

I dunno, at least the paste sounded fun :> Doesn't surprise me that some people there needed it, as all my students were adults. But they all had disabilities of some kind or another and had often been marginalized in their lives, so many never had an opportunity to learn those skills.

They're all normal adults, just I dunno, never gave themselves exposure, I guess. Beats me, I mean even my grandmother can save a file. My 67 year old aunt has her word processing certificates and ran her daycare with Simply Accounting, and she's all about Facebook, gods help us all XD Soooo yeah, I'm kinda "bwuh?"

3 buttons? a mouse? are those people insane?

and a keyboard....used for typing - heresy!

I know, I´m one to talk (can´t write in 10 finger system and uses the wrong hand for the mouse) but come on -.-
