Writer's Block: Table for One

Yes I do.   I generally take a book or paper with me to read, but if I'm in the mood I'll do it.   It is like having a glass of wine at home alone, or going to the movies by myself.  Just because I'm by myself, doesn't mean I should miss out on things people do in company.  It doesn't even mean that I don't have any friends.  It just means I'm by ( Read more... )

I love eating out! It's one of the pleasures of life for me. I love discovering new foods and new flavours in new combinations. I ate jellyfish a couple of weeks ago. Will never eat it again, but I can say I did it!!

I love being at home too, but sometimes I like to let someone else cook :-)

WOW...good one you!

You know I've never been out to dinner on my own. Even when in Melbourne last year I just got takeaway and took it back to my hotel room (and it wasn't that nice...the food that is...the room was!). And during the day, well I'd just skip lunch.

I've never been to the movies on my own either!!!

I like your way of thinking, because it's true...you are just by yourself :)

I even felt funny sightseeing by myself to the beach huts at Brighton Beach when I was in Melbourne - LOL!

It's worth trying just once, just to say you've done it! I like it sometimes, not all the time though. I've done lots of stuff by myself, and find it just fine. Things like holidays and sightseeing are always better in company, because then you can share it afterwards, but I still do it if it's necessary.

I love going to the movies on my own, no-one to worry about but myself, give it a go I'm sure you'll like it:) but it doesn't happen too often as someone always wants to see the movie that I do ..lol

Yes, I have. I can be on my own quite easily, even out for dinner.! Having lunch out on my own is the best. I buy the latest mag and read away. Great ..:)

It's great, isn't it! Actually, mags or papers are always easier to read than novels, I hate to bend their spines too much.....
